Fieldscapes: Field Boundaries for France
This dataset is a subset of the dataset obtained from the Services and Payments Agency(ASP) of France. The subset was created for inclusion in the Fieldscapes project.Field boundaries for France (FieldScapes)
This dataset is a subset of graphic parcel register dataset managed by the ASP (Service and Payment Agency). The graphic parcel register is a geographical database used as a reference for the processing of aid from the common agricultural policy (CAP).
The anonymized version is distributed as part of the public service for making reference data available contains graphic data for plots (basic land unit for farmers' declaration) with their main crop. This data has been produced by the Services and Payment Agency (ASP) since 2007.
An anonymous version of the graphic data of the RPG associated with some of the data declared by the operators is disseminated. This data provides detailed information on land use and land structures. For the 2007 to 2014 versions of the RPG, the data disseminated only includes blocks. From the 2015 edition of the RPG, the data disseminated includes blocks and agricultural plots: information on land use and type of crop goes back down to the plot level, information on land structures disappears. From the 2022 edition of the RPG, the data disseminated only includes agricultural plots. The ASP now entrusts the IGN with the dissemination of anonymized data from the RPG.
The anonymous RPG data are vintage and contain plots corresponding to those declared for campaign N in their known situation and decided by the administration, generally on January 1 of year N+1. These data cover the entire French territory, including Mayotte and Saint-Martin, but excluding Saint-Barthélemy.
The field boundaries are valid for the year 2020
